St. Patrick's Day 2017
St. Patrick's Day Parade, 19 March 2017
We invite all Patricians Alumni Groups to come and form the various Patrician Contingents for this parade on 19 March.
In past years, we gather at the Raffles Landing Site round 2.30pm. The parade will make its way across Cavenagh Bridge to UOB Plaza.
This year, the parade's location is being reviewed, and we will update once informed... Regardless, we will participate and we are all proud to be Patricians!!

The School has committed a colours party for this parade which is jointly organised by the Irish Business Federation and The Patrician Society.

Please do note that the arrangements at Boat Quay is organised by Singapore River One.

St. Patrick's Day, 17 March 2017
Do offer a prayer on this day to give thanks to the many Irish De La Salle Brothers who have taught many of us since 1933.
First St. Patrick's Day Parade, 19 March 2006
The 1st St Patrick's Day Parade was inaugurated 19 Mar 2006 by The Patrician Society and the Irish Business Association. The organisation of this first parade was spearheaded by Peter Ryan and Colin McDonald from the Irish Business Association, and by Yang Tuck Seng, Zero Nalpon, Vincent Low and Derek Scully from The Patrician Society.
The society organised this parade for the first 5 years since its inauguration, with support from St Patrick's School. The Gurka Contingent Bagpipers participated in the initial years; after which the SJI Bagpipers were invited to participate in this Irish and Patrician event.
This is now organised by the Irish Community of Singapore and the Irish St. Patrick's Society, on the Sunday subsequent / preceding St. Patrick's Day.
We, The Patrician Society - the alumni society of St.Patrick's School, together with St. Patrick's School, continue to support the parade... we are proud to note that there was one year where the Grand Marshall of the parade was our Patrician Alumnus and our society's patron, BG George Yeo.
The school and The Patrician Society honour our links with Ireland as we all have the same Patron Saint, and where many of us have been moulded by the many Irish Brothers who have graced St Patrick's School and whose mark has been left on us all.
Once a Patrician, always a Patrician!!
