Why there is a St Patrick's School
This is due to the two Irish Brothers:
A. Br Gregory McGrath; the Brother who bought the land in 1898
B. Br Stephen Buckley; the Brother who founded St Patrick's School in 1933
Our Brother Directors & Principals
We have 9 Irish Principals & Directors since 1933. The Brothers were our Directors & Principals up to 1985, and they are :

9. Br Justinian de Souza (1957 - 1962)
10. Br Patrick Loh (1964 - 1966)
11. Br Joseph Kiely (1967 - 1972)
12. Br Dennis Watt (1973 - 1974)
13. Br Joseph McNally (1975 -1982)
14. Br Oliver Rogers (1982 - 1985)
These and the other Irish Brothers have shaped many of us - they touched many lives.
As you visit St Patrick's today, you will see the names of the various blocks that honour our links with the Brothers, especially the Irish Brothers.
